A bit about us

Based in the Forest of Dean, on the edge of Gloucestershire, Two Rivers Housing is a community-based housing association with customers at its heart.

Everyone deserves a warm, safe and affordable home. That belief shapes everything we do, from how we invest in our tenants’ homes, how we work #Twogether to deliver and improve our services and how we build new affordable housing where it’s needed most.

Our corporate strategy, Delivering #Twogether 2024–2027, was created with tenants and focuses on what matters most to them. It sets out clear priorities for our work, guided by six key commitments:

We’re financially strong and hold the highest regulatory ratings of G1 / V1 from the Regulator of Social Housing. As a Charitable Community Benefit Society, we don’t have shareholders. This means that any surplus we generate is reinvested into our homes or used to improve services for tenants.

We’re part of the communities we serve and work closely with local authorities and partners to make a positive difference. We know housing plays a wider role in people’s health and wellbeing, and we’re committed to making sure our neighbourhoods are great places to live.

Wherever possible, we support the local economy through our recruitment and procurement supporting local people and businesses. We know the difference that a good quality, affordable home can make to people’s lives and our proud to be able to serve the people living in our neighbourhoods.

We invest in our team, so that they can do their best for our tenants and are proud to promote housing as a rewarding and meaningful career choice.
