Our executive team

The executive team works closely with the board to establish the strategic direction of our organisation. They are inspiring leaders that create a culture where tenants are at the heart of everything we do, building an organisation that delivers the best results for our customers.

They recognise that the individual experiences, skills, and expertise of our team are the key to our success and working collaboratively within our organisation, with customers, and with our partners to ensure that we are doing a great job.

Our board

Our Board is led by Ted Pearce.

Ted is a Chartered surveyor with 40 years’ experience in the property and construction industry. He has led the portfolio management activity of some of Europe’s biggest businesses and is a Fellow of RICS as well as RSA and RGS.

He is joined by a group of experts who share our vision to make sure that everyone has a warm, safe, affordable home. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business and are committed to listening to and working closely with our tenants to improve our services.

Our committee structure

Alongside the board, we have three committees. These are made up of board members and the executive team and provide additional assurance and scrutiny in key areas of the business.

Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee

Led by our Deputy Chief Executive Carol Dover, this committee reviews our performance, monitors risks and is responsible for providing additional assurance to the Board that we are being managed effectively.

Customer, Colleague and Culture Committee

Liz Evans our Executive Director of People and Culture leads this committee. It is made up of Board members and includes a member of our Tenants’ Voice Group. This committee makes sure that the voice of our tenants is heard right across the business and is reflected in the decisions we make.

It also looks at our culture and the experiences of our team to ensure that we continue to listen to their feedback and create a great place to work, where our team can do their best for our tenants.

Tenants’ Voice Group

Our Tenants’ Voice Group provides a direct link between our tenants and the Group Board.

Made up of tenants and members of the Board, including Yvonne Leishman and Audrey James (our tenant board member), it plays a vital part in holding our organisation to account. #Twogether, the group will review, scrutinise, and challenge the services we provide and decisions we make from a customer perspective.

A member of our Tenants’ Voice Group also sits on our Customer, Colleague and Culture Committee.

Assets, Investment and Development Committee

Executive Director of Homes Jonny Jones leads this committee. It has oversight of our development plans, regeneration projects, warmer homes programme and our repairs and maintenance services.

Each of the committees are also responsible for identifying risks and issues in key areas and escalating these to the Board so that action can be taken where needed.
